What is an AUTHENTIC Montessori school?

Teachers: highly trained in the Montessori method with an internationally recognized diploma. A Montessori teacher is a trained observer who embodies humility, love and respect for every child.
Specially designed classroom: fully equipped with beautiful Montessori materials to develop your child's skills in Daily Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, Geography, Culture, Science and Nature.
Multi-aged children: children must vary in ages between 2 1/2-6 yrs old. This element promotes a sense of community vs competition. Children are exposed to various levels of maturity, talent and skill and encouraged to help each other. Older and younger learn from each other!
Peaceful: perhaps the most obvious difference between a Montessori classroom and a conventional daycare is the overall peacefulness of a Montessori classroom. Children are engaged and happy thereby creating a very peaceful and quiet environment.
Authentic 3 year Montessori preschool program for children 2 1/2-6 years old
Recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Daycare and eligible for daycare tax credit
Children enter the program at 2 1/2 -3 years old. The curriculum is designed to follow your child's development over 3 years, gradually laying a solid foundation in Math, Language, Science, Geography and Daily Life skills. Your child will remain with the same teacher to develop their sense of stability, trust and confidence as well as to follow closely, their progress in each of the domains. Upon completion, your child is ready to begin grade 1.

Nature plays an integral role in the Montessori classroom. Throughout the curriculum, children are regularly encountering and exploring various elements of the natural world. It is through hands on experience and support from classroom materials that they develop a deep knowledge, love and respect for our living Earth.
